ok well i have this really good friend and he's a guy and also he's a year older than me. and i like him alot, but only as a friend, and one of his friends told me that he likes me. and well everyone thinks that he does like me to. and i only like him as a friend, and i was told by his sister that he's going to ask me to homecoming, and i dont know how to tell him i dont want to go out with him cuzz he's a REALLY REALLY REALY good friend but i dont want to date him!!! please help me!!!

Maybe, if he asks you, then that is your chance to set things straight with him.

Tell him you'd love to go with him, but not for any romantic reasons, just because it would be a lot of fun to go with him as a friend.

Also, start confiding in him, and asking him for advice about a boy you DO like! Make one up if you have to... just give him the hint in a subtle way without shooting him down in flames.

You should give him a chance. Lots of romance starts out as good friends, they are the best kind.

Before he gets a chance to ask you, why dont you ask someone else with whom you want to go to dance with. that way when he asks you out you can tell him that you already have a date.

When he asks you to homecoming tell
him that you would love to go but let
him know that you two are going as
friends and nothing more.

Tell him how much you love his friendship & it wouldn't be worth losing if the romance didn't work out.

just be honest....tell thanks but your going with someone else or with your girl friends.... thank him for the offer....and move on.....
