How old were you and what do you remember?

Any distinct details?

I don't remember too much of it but I am glad that I still remember! Here goes mine:

I was 3 & in San Francisco at the time (that's where mums gave me life) & I remember her holding my hand walking the grey concrete sidewalk going somewhere (don't remember where) and I was looking up at a tall skyscraper pausing for a good 5 or 6 seconds. I remember distinctly that the building was red and tall as hell. Then mom tugged at me to keep moving along. I wonder if I could still find the skycraper. (Maybe it was just a building ... who knows I was only 2 and probably only 2 1/2 or 3 ft tall.)

A very faint, but distinct memory of trying to reach across to a call by someone, just those two outstretched arms visible in the memory, and I was struggling to crawl or what ever, even the smooth flooring seemed to hold me back, glueing me by my stomach to it, and the rest of the body, the limbs able to move, flutter ahead, the angular view of the entire surface of the smooth shining black floor, presented a look, seeming to say 'common conquer me if you can !', and I, feeling helpless, moment to moment afresh, no time to even go through the swelling sorrow of previous moment, like some unseen force making me hurry, the outstretched arms seeming to go farther away with each attempt to reach towards it ! The only feeble consolation seemed that head could be retained a bit high (though with great sustained efforts !)... This memory comes back during times of feeling like having reached dead end of a solution-evading-problem within !
Not very sure about the age, but seems to be the earliest/oldest of memories !

I want to say I was around 1 1/2-2 yrs. My mom stuck me in my crib when we had company and I screamed until she came in and got me. I remember her face looking at me like she wanted to ring my neck. This is completely true too. 34yrs ago.

I remember the day I walked too only because I was in a room full of people that made a huge scream of joy when I did. I can even remember how it felt. Pretty strange I know

I remembered when I was around 1/2 (v. distant memory tht I just remembered) I was looking outside through this window sliding-door(?) and after 1 min of staring outside/ into space lol.. I suddenly noticed that there was this white-n-black colored cat sitting right infront of the window as well lol.. I think I felt suprised after tht... it was facing frontward and it kinda camoflouged(sp?) with the this tile we had outside.. I guess thats why I couldn't take notice of it properly...

I study this some weeks in the past. in the 2d movie of SATC Carrie isn't wearing it anymore because of the fact it is not cool anymore. i think of it relies upon of the type. The smaller, the extra stylish i assume. I consistently concept it had an emotional meaning in SATC.

I must have been around 3. I remember my dad getting home and I told him "I can say things without you hearing them"... and with that, I thought of something.

This may sound out there, but I remember voices from when I was in my mother's womb. My mom was 8 months pregnant with me when she left Pakistan for the USA. I remember voices (in my native language) saying, "You're going far away but don't ever forget you're one of us."

Jung the Austrian psychologist who surpassed the teachings of his sex obsessed teacher believed we have ancient and primordial memory's in what he called our collective unconcerns such as some individuals have an inherent fear of snakes though never been exposed to them. or of animals that one was never exposed to..
