Try your local jewelry stores, like we have Pandora here, if you don't wanna go to malls because all the stores like Zales and J&R are all at big malls.
* Please don't buy her a ring from K-mart.

You don't have to spend a ton of money. It's the thought that counts. However, you do want to buy something of quality, so I would suggest you go to a jewelery store or some place that sells fine jewelery. The last thing you want to do is buy her something that's going to turn her finger green.
Trust me, I have been with my wife for over 22 years now, so I know what I'm talking about.

Look in the yellow pages, under jewelers and do some research. I would check out each reputable jewelry store you can, finding the best looking as well as the best buys. Prayers for a happy future =)

No, not Zales or Kays! Would you go to Sears? They sell expensive 'cheap' stuff. Commercial stuff - turns your finger green! Find a local ring/jewelry maker.
They can sell you something already made or do something especially made for the two of you.
Higher quality, more creative, less expensive.

Dont be a cheap skate and buy her a nice ring at an expensive and well known accreddited jewelry store as long as its shiny and has gold and size does matter!
