i am 14 and i have had my motorcycle permit for about 8 months but i want something bigger but in a price range. i can't have anything bigger the 500cc. i was looking at rebel but please give me suggestions.

What style of bike are you looking at?
Cruiser you can do a Honda Rebel, but they top out at around 65-70mph. Or the Suzuki GS250. Both are good entry-level bikes.
If sportbikes are your thing, the Suzuki GS500F is a good choice, and so is the Kawasaki Ninja EX500, and the Buell Blast. The Kawi is a little better because it's liquid-cooled, and I've seen ones with over 80,000 miles without a rebuild. The Suzuki and Buell aren't as popular, but they are still good machines.

I had a honda rebel when i was 14 it it was good bike could take a real beating and keep going. Enduro Style lets ya be a lil more crazy if when think you might go out in the woods with your friends to drink a lil beer =) have fun and be safe

Kawasaki has the Vulcan in a 500 cc option now. Go sit on several bikes and see which one you like the best. Good luck & congrats on moving up a bit!
