I was in an accident where I hit a parked car. the car only has paint damage. we both decided not to inform our insurances. I have a close friend who works for an auto dealership and I can get her bumper fixed for close to nothing. But she wants to go to wherever and rent a car while her bumper being replaced! She's not 21.....what do I do....just tell my insurance.....or should I talk to her dad! :-p

this is why you need to call your ins company, she will end up suing you, or taking you to court! your ins company will fight for you they know what the real value is, this is what they do ,you not saving anything by doing this yourself ,plus its a against the law, if you are in voled in any type of vehicle collision minor or Major must report it to the ins company's, this is what you pay them for they do all the rental stuff and negations between parties and maybe its not even you fault ?maybe it was there before so call em OK

tell her that if she thinks that she cant sit still and wait on her bumper to get fixed, then she can just get her insurance raised by filing an insurance report. and also maybe just say 'ok lets see you go rent it'(cause shes not 21) it might suck for you if you have to file a claim, but rather that then letting this b===h weasel more money out of you. she is prob doing this cause she doesnt even have insurance
