Whatever team wins the AL will win the World Series... the NL is really down this year! (no offence NL fans)

Yankees have the hitters and will win if their pitching comes through for them

Oakland doesn't really have a chance; no way they will get by both the Central champ (Detroit/Minnie) AND the Yankees.

If Minnesota catches gets a couple great starts from their pitching, they may suprise NY in a 5 game series.

Detroit is very young and has been struggling, but never count out a team whose manager has been there before and has Pudge at the backstop and he's done it before with Florida.

Whatever of these three get HOT in October (Yankees, Twins, or Tigers) will win it all!

Sorry Mets... I do think you'll beat the other poor NL teams up to make it to the Series though!!!

... and one last thing... heaven help us if we have another New York World Series!! Not many will be watching outside of New York!!!

It will be an AL team, so not the Mets. But I don't think the Yankees have the pitching to win it this year.

Yankees over Mets in 6 games.

But NYY has to get past Minnesota first. They're really the only team that can prevent the second chapter of the Subway Series.

Try the Twins, or maybe the Tigers. Pedro is out for the first round, and the Big Eunuch is hurting, too!

This is a typical New Yorker question, forgetting that there are teams outside the Big Apple who can win!
