The bathtub even though it's not very quiet when all those bubbles start popping!

i go down to the beach, i don't tell anyone where i'm going, i leave the cell phone at home and i find a nice empty spot on the sand. that's the ultimate in peace and quiet. if i don't feel like just sitting there i'll throw my bike in my truck and ride on the bike path that runs along the sand, i'll ride until my legs won't pedel anymore, stop and get some grub, eat totally alone and turn around and head home. i hate southern california but the beach is the one thing i think i would miss if i were to ever leave, it's always there whenever you need it and it's totally unassuming and nonjudgemental.

With 4 kids, I haven't seen peace or quiet in a LONG time, and when I finally do see either one of them, I'm kicking them in the knee for leaving me all this time!!

The bar. Kidding...actually a big, beautiful park across the street from me. The autumn is the best time of the year for it too.

I like to go out to the lake at night (when it is warm) and just sit and think...after the day traffic is gone :)
