Joe Dimaggio twice!! Dimaggio actually hit in 61 straight games while playing for the San Fransico Seals Pacific Coast League. to break the proffesional record. He later hit in 56 straight games in 1941 while playing for the Yankees to break the Major League record formelly held by Wee Willie Keller.
