I would say so.
• Whites wouldn't let blacks into college, so black people made the United ***** College Fund.
• Whites weren't giving blacks a fair chance at getting job that they were qualified for, so affirmative action came about.

We have nothing to complain about, we brought it on ourselves. Besides none of this effects me negatively anyway.

race is a very touchy touchy subject.
but i do agree with what you're saying.
alot of white people don't care about blacks and so we have to provide and make a way for ourselves and the future generations. i think that reverse racism is everyone's fault though.

I'm glad you are the mature one to ask this question, of course my answer is a huge YES. White people brought this on their own self. We were pushed back from so many opportunities that we had to make something out of nothing and...voila Black programs. The present Whites have nothing to do with the evils of this society, but some are still pushing for Blacks to stop "whining and crying" over the past. There is still racism, so until then, we Blacks must drink from the cup we Earned.

Thanks again for asking this important question.

Well I can't speak for elders. I'm of a younger generation. I don't feel like everything is fair, but I'm also disappointed that young "white people" are still paying for the mistakes of their elders. I personally didn't have anything to do with what the white race did. I'm almost ashamed to say that I'm white some days. America will never stop racism until we learn to live together as one nation. We aren't going to make things better by creating organizations devoted to race. We are teaching the young children of america that seperation by race is okay. They say History reapeats it's self and they way were headed it surely will.

if everyone would just get over the fact that there was slavery and all that other crap, the world would be a better place. No one in this generation has owned a slave, or been a slave for that matter. we are still blaming each other for what our ancestors did/didn't do, when what we need to be doing is teaching our children a better way to live. And also respect each other no matter what we look like. To tell you the truth, in this day and age we need to worry more about these school shootings and teenage pregnancy than what color the shooter was or the color of the baby's daddy!

No, its just a simple case of getting an inch and taking a mile. Blacks figured they would use the guilt of people from 150 years ago and try to run with it and get as much as possible while they can. Well now they are discovering that they over used the race card, and are stating to get bit in the a ss for it. When they do, ofcourse they try to play the race card anyways. Soon enough it wont be there. Thank god.

those aren't examples of reverse racism though.

Woah why thumbs down? The United ***** College Fund isn't reverse racist! It's a good idea! And so is affirmative action. That's not reverse racism at all.

It's self protection.

THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS REVERSE RACISM!!!
From m-w.com
Pronunciation: 'rA-"si-z&m also -"shi-
Function: noun
1 : a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race
2 : racial prejudice or discrimination

Racism against White people isn't called reverse racism, it's just called racism.

The government and others did those things to these people. I'm not apart of this we did it to ourselves statement. How these people have treated the government is up to them but I do get sad when I see them treating me as if I did it to them. Which has only been a couple.

You are right, but still, racism isn't any better when the racists have been on the receiving end for a long time. Look at the way Arab citizens are treated in Israel.

Fair treatment under the law. And when the time comes that these things are no longer needed, they will fade
