In July I change birth control. The middle part of this month I spotted and it was dark. Since then I've taken a hpt and the results was negative.

It sometimes takes your body some time to regulate when you switch birth control..It takes me about 4 months for my body to work properly with the pill, without spotting.

i have switched birth control methods(patch,pill,shot) more times than i can count and everytime i transition to a different form i always spot probably for a month or until your body regulates itself...

No, it does not mean you're pregnant. Keep taking the pill as directed and it should resolve. If not, buy the pregnancy test but for now just watch it.
