1. I would awake at 5 a.m. and call an end to all our wars. It would be aired on all national and international t.v. 2. During my announcement, I would beg forgiveness for all those we killed, maimed, tortured ,and left homeless, and without their families or means of survival. 3. All troops would be ordered to come home. 4. At 6a.m. I would be personally on the phone or whatever means necessary to schedule as many conferences and face to face meetings with all world leaders including those who hate us and work on building a mutually respected and trusting relationship 5. I would then, after breakfast, have a meeting with key economic advisers and eliminate any programs of wasteful spending and focus on our health care and education for starters.

1. Repeal the tax cuts that large corporations and those making over $200,000 per year currently receive.

2. Increase the minimum wage to reflect the rate of inflation since the last increase over 10 years ago.

3.I would form a committee to come up with a solution to end the war in Iraq. This committee would include both democrats, republicans and independents.

4. I would attempt to mend relations with the rest of the world by allowing other nations ideas and opinions to be considered, and accepting the United Nations as "relevant"

5. I would encourage the development of alternative power sources for automobiles in order to decrease our dependence on foreign oil.

1. Stop outsourcing of jobs
2. Allow imports only if we export equal amount to that country.
3. Drop every illegal from government subsidies and deport them to their own country. Make English our official language. Any foreign flag flown in US must have the Stars and Stripes flying above it. Give a time limit foreigners can live in our country before they have to become Americans and contribute. Enforce our borders and shoot if necessary. They will get that message quickly.
4. All school children would wear uniforms, respect of school property and teachers would be enforced and school prayer would resume.
5. Pedophiles, rapists, kidnappers, white collar crime such as stealing pensions and murder except for self defense would ALL serve life sentences. NO PAROLE. No college education for them, they won't need it in prison. No free medical surgeries, no tv, no free HBO, no furloughs home for the weekend, and NO appeals. No monthly treats such as hoagies ordered in or McDonalds or Burger King. They are criminals. Treat them as such!
6. Foster children would go to boarding schools. No going from family to family. These schools would afford them every opportunity to have a good life when they are adults. They would NOT be thrown out at 18. They would move into cottages with other foster 18 y/o's where they would pay their way and learn to live with help when needed. Instead of paying foster parents that money would go in an account to help them get started in life. They would always be welcome back to the boarding school like family. This would be no different than rich kids being sent to private boarding, military or finishing schools.
7. Every large business would be charged a percentage of yearly profits to build homes for the homeless. The mentally ill would also be moved off the streets to shelters that would work to help them.
8. Stop sending money to every foreign nation that despises us. Let them work it out for themselves. If they support terrorists, then no aid. We will gladly find places to spend that money here at home.

If I had this opportunity I would be well prepared to make the right choices for our citizens. I know there are many more concerns.

The government would auction off patent rights in secret bidding to firm they said they could manufacturer and market and distribute for lowest unit price with royalty fee based on total sales for life of patent paid to developer.

4 Would revert commodities options to past years where one had to accept delivery to gain.
5 Would set aside part of telecasting spectrum for government run public affairs network, and give each registered voter free receiver and recorder.

I can think of one thing I would do. I would make it so that if you are not in the US legally you are not allowed any form of help. I would make it a requirement that you provide valid proof of your legal status to obtain medical and/or financial assistance.
