Not if you are strictly online and you work from home. You do need a DBA. Doing business as. . . you call your city clerks office and talk to them. They know everything you need. THe dba is just to make sure no one takes your name.

the only business license you need is from your local city or county, call city hall and ask if a (home based ?) business requires a license.

In most of the cases if you are into marketing of "Informational/ digital products" then there is no need formal registration, off course you have to provide your social security number/ tax ID.
And if you are in "Physical items" , then you have to register with resp. dept.
But informational products are selling like a hot cake on internet.
