When was the most uncomfortable moment? Are those birthes easier at home with the older siblings of the new baby around???

Of my four, there was only one, the 10-pound baby, that was painful. It hurt because it was taking a long time so my doctor induced me. Had I known how it would intensify the labor I would NEVER have agreed! Anyway, during transition it really did hurt so much that I asked for pain meds, but the doc reminded me that it wouldn't last long and I knew he was right so I just gritted my teeth and got through it. I think you can get through anything if you realize that it's only temporary. Once it was time to push, the pain was gone and the rest was just beautiful!

I had my first at home so there were no sibs around. I'm not sure how I feel about that. The first moments with your newborn are so magical that I think maybe the sibs would be jealous. But maybe not. It really is a very precious moment!
