Don't care what race the person is -- my initial thought is "were they doing the best they could in the situation and were discriminated against anyway, or are they using this as a crutch"

Honest answer: There are greater injustices in the world caused by whites.
Answer everyone wants to believe they would think: discrimination is wrong, I listen to the white person as much as the black, latino or asian person.

Frankly, my feelings are very dispassionate. I know of friends who are white and have been discriminated against and my feelings are quite different because their is a bond; a connection of friendship. Which in terms, makes me wonder if whites who don't have Afro-American friends or associates, are equally dispassionate?

I think about why the US Supreme Court has NEVER agreed to hear cases of reverse discrimination.

I have no "initial" reaction. I am white and have been discriminated against by blacks.

My reaction would be, "why do you feel you were discriminated against?" as it would be with anyone of any race, then i would listen to them and then i would give them my opinion if they wanted it.

I consider the validity of his complaint..
As I would with anyone else who might complain of discrimination..
Are you suggesting that whites should be treated with less consideration & respect than colored races ?

I'm not surprised. No one, regardless of race or ethnicity, is immune from discrimination.
It is sometimes referred to as "reverse discrimination" and often masquerades as "affirmative action."
