It is no coincidence that the band name was "Queen"... it was known as an inside joke from the beginning!
As a now semi-retired music professional, I can't think of anyone living or dead ever with a better voice than Freddie's from a technical point - classical or otherwise. He had unbelievable range and dynamics - he could hit anything he tried for!

I do not know who Freddie Mercury is, but why does it matter to you how he got aids? It seems a little too personal, to me. Leave the poor guy alone, he has enough trouble.
