it's not Sanctions, it's withdrawling the 24 billion in aid we were giving the old regieme... it's stupid. why should the US be supporting the rest of the world? they would not support us when the time came. look at Katrina, Did Thailand send aid? no. so why should we support a new regieme under the old standards?

it's like you sell a car and agree to make payments, but then some guy beats up the guy you bought the car from, do you think we should just happily keep making payments to the new bully? I don't think so. Our Aid was setup through the old Thai government, and if they want new monies they'll have to negotiate w/ us.
