If you sell a product (candy bars) or service (mowing lawns) it's legal, but taxable.

I'm not sure what Pizza Card sales are, but if it is a game of chance, it's probably not legal unless you get a permit.

You can get a loan, or sell stock in your company, or take on partners who don't have to actually do any of the work.

If I were you, I'd try to purchase an existing business. Work for the business for 6 months or a year. See if you like the work and learn what you can about it. Sometimes the owner(s) will loan you the some of the money (take back paper). See a business broker in your area.
