hmm...try freakradio. they play a variety of stuff.
live365 is cool too. you have to sign up for it and they have commercials every so often, but they have TONS of stations dedicated to metal, hardcore, and every genre in between. Try checking your favorite bands' labels websites, some of them offer online radio stations and playlists.

Yahoo radio has a decent Death metal station. And a Hardcore station!
