Fighting demons?

Question

Lately I have been dreaming a lot about demons, yet I am not scared of them. In fact it is the other way around.

For example last night I dreamt that there was a demon attacking this woman and as soon as I stepped into the room the demon fled. Then, I was at a party and I ran into two demons who became frighten as soon as they saw me. I told them to relax that I was not after them. Then I saw the one that I was after... I felt this "strength" come over me and I used that power to destroy it.

I know they are demons because of their appearance plus they always appear trying to harm someone.

Does anybody know what this might mean??? As far back as I could remember I have been having such dreams, but lately it seems that I dream about this at least three times a week!!!

No I don't need meds... and I definitely don't do drugs!!! I just think that these dreams are rather weird, and looking for a meaning to them.

I don't dread going to sleep, cause I am the one they are scared of. It doesn't affect me in any way physically or emotionally (I hope!)... I just think it's weird and sometimes kind of cool that I am beating the cr@p out of these demons!

In your dream world the symbolism of the demons is probably a problem or an enemy in your life..the fact that they ran from you means you will be successful in dealing with problems or enemies. in general demons are not a good thing...and letting your guard down in the event of astral demonic visitation can be both dangerous and deadly..demons can take on friendly roles they also feed upon your life source...your health, your energy..you can take an active role in your dream world, if they are harming folk..command them to leave...if you like that sort of thing they are already feeding on you..

I have been going through the same ordeal for years. Its so frightening that I dread going to bed. I feel as if i'm paralized and caught in these dreams. Its like I know that I'm dreaming but something evil is holding me under. Its alot like "old hag symdrome" but more vicious and frightening. My doctor says that its sleep paralisis but I can't hardly believe that. He gave me an Rx of Xanax and that has actually seemed to help a little. Whether or not these "demons" are in my head, I don't know.

Demons are spiritual creatures of pure energy with intelligence and free will. By 'spiritual' I mean that they have no body. They were created before Man, so they are ancient. They are also great deceivers. My first guess if they appeared to be afraid of 'just a man' is that they are playing a ruse. Why else would they fear 'an ordinary man?'

Be thankful that it is just a dream. Somewhere I remember reading that if we are ever so foolish as to believe that we can best demons on our own, for our sin of arrogance even our own Guardian Angel would be powerless to protect us. Food for Thought.

I'm not exactly sure what this means but i think that is really cool and i don't think that you should listen to dreammoods.com though ( i went there and it wasn't very handy, it was also very negative) Do you watch the show Charmed ( with Prue, Piper, Phoebe, and Paige) it is a really cool show about these three girls that fight demons, warlocks, and over demonic type things. It takes place in present day.i think you would like it alot. Its kind of like Buffy The Vampire slayer, Except way better. And i don't think you need any medications.

i don't think of you're loopy. seems God has a plan and a destiny to fulfill. the 1st component that i might advise is to bypass on your community or closest Bible e book shop. (no, not Barnes and Noble). Ask and verify they quite have faith in Jesus Christ. Then i might locate out approximately somebody with a deliverance ministry. i'm not saying you have matters, yet that possibly you have a latest in the Spirit. With the non secular conflict that is going on over this u . s . a ., and the tip of the age coming , there'll be extra indications, miracles, and wonders. inspect and notice if The Lord is looking you for use as a vessel via Him, for Him. Father, grant this youthful warrior with the ideal practise and human beings to equip him for what You ask of him. grant him peace, awareness and archives , latest on your be conscious. thank you. I do believe that something is going on in your live that needs immediate action and that fighting demons in your dream is a way for compensating for what is really happening. Think hard about it and act on it.

Listen ,kid ! There r just 2 things - either u must be seeing too many horror movies & then remembering GOD before sleeping or u have just typed this question to allow every TOM,DICK & HARRY to get 2 points by answering your question. Demons have vanished from this planet ages ago. So, forget worrying about extinct species.

You could be possibly fighting your inner demons. I have a great deal of rescue dreams, where I am rescuing other spirits from dark spirits. You could try dreammoods.com, I have found this site most helpful.

As long as you aren't mentally affected by your demons and you aren't having nightmares about them, I think it is all good . You seem to enjoy your dreams so don't feel if anything abnormal is going on. It may be your way (subconscious)in handling your real life situations. if you think about it get a book on dreams ..folklore . mythology...
