Make the contract work for you,
1st off Yes I'd sign him but it would have some off clauses.
Something like,
3 years 6.5 mil a year with a 9 mil guarantee with one clause.
If he does any acts that are deemed detrimental to the team then he would for fit his upfront money having to pay back the % that has missed in game time.
So he misses two years, because I had to cut him then he would have to return 6mil.

Yes! Terrell Owens is controversial and talented there have been many players with much more serious issues such as drug problems and problems with the law. Terrell plays to win and thats what he's paid to do...Having a big mouth shouldn't be the problem that people make it out to be. I mean rellay the entire team of professionals suddenly can't play because one guy has a big mouth seriously if that happens to your team you have more than one charachter problem on your team ie Philadelphia Eagles...Profesional player are paid a lot of money to perform on the feild not use a cop out like that guy pisses me off and I can't play...GIve me a freakin break!

b/c when he's healthy and on his game, he's a play-maker, game-breaker, difference maker...
I think the Cowboys have him for 3 yrs $25 mill. Don't forget that it's not guaranteed money in the NFL, they can cut him & their losses if and when they choose to.
Relative to the rest of the crazy $$$ sports world, I don't think he's worth gambling on for much more than $5 mill a year, non-guaranteed. If you can manage to ignore the circus he is a legit receiver.
I'll bet the rest of the Cowboys don't mind in some ways having him around, b/c no one has any time to pay attention to how bad they are playing while the T.O. circus is grabbing all the attention. Bledsoe was the talk of Buffalo when he was playing like that in their town.

I would sign him. Hes a great wide-out. I think I would just give him a contract with clauses that stipulated he could not do anything to damage the teams image for example the whole Dallas Star incident. However, if I found that the media was provoking something I wouldn't fault him for that.

Of course i'd sign him. So many people hate T.O. and say how much they want him out. But in reality if he was gone, the NFL wouldnt be as interesting. Sure there are other entertaining players, Chad Johnson, Steve Smith, but this is T.O. you need him. And regardless of how he is...his numbers say it all. He's amazing. You can't deny that
I'd sign him!

1 year deals with no guaranteed money. Also have a clause in there that if he gets in trouble, causes problems, etc, the contract is null and void. He is a great player once he is on the field.

He's a playmaker that draws double and sometimes triple coverage. In addition to helping your other receivers it helps your running game because linebackers are forced to play back. I would sign TO to a long term deal with clauses that reduce his salary based on negative media attention.

Yes, his talents help teams win look at the Eagles and 9 ers, they win games with him. People must double team him, helping the team, plus it opens up running routes for the team's running back. Plus people come to see him do something CRaZY! Which means more money.

Hell no I wouldn't, I know he's a good player, when he ever plays. But that wouldn't make up for his numerous unprofessional relationships with real professionals. It kills me how people can make so much money sitting on the sideline for a broken pinky finger. I've seen football players play with broken arms, hands, feet, collar bones, etc. Those are real football players. T.O. is a ****** joke.

The man is a cancer to any team. The destroyer of morale, the epitome of disrespect for a coach.
He's too much about himself, and i wouldnt have him on my team ever. I concede he's a tremendous athlete, but i dont need that much ego on my team.
