Jamie D,
I sympathise with you - I have had 3 questions deleted this week and counting!
People who report violations are more interested in policing than participating in the event. For them, a strict obediance to rules is one of the most important responsibilities in life - and if they get to police those rules, so much the better. I would guess that these people had very strict parents and were shamed a lot when they did something wrong as children. This is their way of getting back to the familiar ground of their childhood - it makes them feel good.
Can I suggest that you rephrase your question as another question: why is Yahoo censoring my question? Lay it out for all to see - and the rest of us who value free speech will ride in with messages of support.

Same reason my answer was removed when someone asked how they can make their face look thinner. Apparently joking that Starvation was the answer upset a person or two.

I've got no clue. Bring it up with Yahoo Answers and ask them about it.
