Any activity that challenges your mind and body will teach you a lot about yourself. Sometimes we underestimate what we are capable of or how hard we can push ourselves. Dance is an amazing release that will get you in touch with your true emotions, most of which we are scared to show other people. For some reason showing emotion in body language seems to be easier than in spoken words. In one performance you can be vulnerable, enraged, sexy, and happy- sometimes all at the same time. It is what keeps me sane.

Dancing is a form of expression and in choreography, the dancer can interpret what and how he/she feels in reaction to a particular mood or music.

It is a way of digging below the layers and getting in touch with how you really feel and by dancing we can express those feelings. It's cheaper than therapy.
