How long does it take to start enjoying sex and overcoming the fear of the first time ?

It wasn't painful for me, just painfully disappointing! I didn't understand what all the fuss was about...I had no idea what an orgasm felt like until about 8 years later when I learned how to masturbate. Wow! After that, sex with guys turned into a much more satisfying experience.

It was extremely painful for me the first time. Afterwards, I wondered why on earth anyone would ever want to do that again. I certainly didn't intend to! I don't remember how many times it took before it stopped hurting. I think it was probably 3 or 4. If the man is gentle and knows what he's doing, I don't think it would have to be any more than just a little uncomfortable.

Over coming the fear will vary between the individual...yes it is painful for most...and personally I didnt enjoy it until about the 5th time.

Well, yes, the first time usually hurts because it's breaking your hymen. But some girls are born without one, so it may not. you'll probably start enjoying it after you've done it a couple of times. But don't do it unless your ready or it'll really suck!!!!!

Very painful, until I met the right guy. I went through 3 boyfriends before I found someone who actually knew what he was doing when it came to sex.

Pretty much after the first time it becomes fun..if you let your self enjoy it. It can be pain full the first time..Certainly if a women has not broke her hymen yet.

I have only got I cherry in my whole life & it was when I was 45! She was almost 31 & hadn't even kissed a man til I came along!

not really painful and did not really enjoy it but because i was so nervous, the next after that i was more prepared and have knowledge what to expect so i get more relaxed

for me it was a few times after, espcially if i dont have sex for a while it takes a few minutes to get back into it.

I think its all up to the womans body style and her pelvis bone. That is what makes up if it hurts or not.
