NIGHTMARE...or night terrors as in frightening dreams,
vivid dreams of strange happenings to you, your friends, enemies or loved ones.
Incubus attacks, horrifying images that could be telling a real story. Unknown fears of the unknown unconscious mind.
Panic attacks - changes in personality and mood upon waking.
I find the nightmare the most intriguing and pondered dreams that one can experience. They never go away, they just get repressed.

I'm rather weird, so I actually have a 'favorite' nightmare.
It had vampire hippopotamuses in it (as well as people vampires). Sounds silly, I know, but it got quite scary near the end.
