Who "rules" the world MEN or WOMEN?

I was having a talk with my brother who is ver into this whole man vs woman thing his opinion was that women are just here to help the supiour..man all opinions welcome *MATURE ANSWER PLEASE*

Though naturally males are the dominant gender of the species, they still rely on women for numerous things. However, this does not mean women "rule" the world. We tend to work more behind the scenes, supporting the men who have the "power" and helping them when they need it. So technically, men "rule" since they have most of the most sexual and political power within our species, but you can say that women still have a hand in keeping things going smoothly.

Women because they have all the same advantages without any of the responsibilities--EG women can work the same (and usually better) jobs as men, but they don't really have to. They can still choose to let a man take care of them, and its socially accepted as the norm. They also have affirmative action and are percieved as having superior managerial skills, so they often land those types of positions right away whereas a similarily qualified man will have to start at the bottom and work his way up. On the average men have better tenure at jobs since women can bounce from one good job to another without it having an adverse affect on their work histories. It's a women's world, the men just support it and keep it going.

Remember what Jack Nicholson said in the movie "As Good as it Gets?"--think like a man and then subtract reason and accountability--it's an inflammatory statement that is undeniably true

Throughout history there have been great rulers from both sexes.

Cleopatra, Catherine the Great, Queen Elizabeth, these women have ruled over vast empires and have changed the course of history. Yet their subjects actually ran the day to day activities that enabled them to rule.

Great men include Julius Cesar, Alexander the Great, Genghis Khan,... and countless others. Again, these men ruled ,but it was their subjects who did the day to day activities.

If you look past the gender you will find greatness from both. You will also find scoundrels, deception, and many foul and despicable acts by both men and women.

Do not let your brother tell you that one gender is better then the other. After all - who really want to take the blame for the shape of the world right now anyway?

Neither. Men and women need ecah other to survive.

Ask what man would do if no women were around. Ask what would women do if no men were around. The point is, you need both to exist. What makes the traditionary role of women less important than man's job? Of course men can say that they would be able to do it but probably not as good as women can. Reversing the logic, how does man know women cant do physical labor when most of history has not allowed women to do such things. Again, maybe not as well as men can but then again, that doesnt mean they cant.

Its the men who rule the world but it is the women who control the men. I think the women have more control because the men listen to their wives often and their wives have a huge influence on them.
If you ask me who will rule this world in the future, I would say WOMEN.
Women are working and they have money on their own and their are more women than men in this world.
Some statistics and the Quran says that as the world nears the end, there will be more women than men eventually leading to fifty women to one man.

I believe the answer is both.I t depends on what u r talkin about. Men control the business world, but since women are the ones who bring those businessmen ( and women) into existence, they have control too. Plus women play a great role in all parts of society.They don't just play the role, they manage and control.

women rule the world... we are just really good at letting the men think they do. we have men wrapped around our fingers. it is not only the fact that we can use sex to get our own way, but we have something that men just give in to that isn't tied directly to sex. it may be sexuality or sexiness...
