Nintendo DS. If he's anything like my brother he likes Pokemon. Pokemon Blue/Red Rescue Team would be a good game to go along with it. Its different from any other Pokemon game. Why? Because you get to be a Pokemon! Also, New Super Mario Brothers. Its gonna be a new classic and there isn't any of the excessive violence and swearing that seems to permeate so many games these days.

If he has a PS2, get the Ratchet and clank's (the first 3) THe first is just ratchet and clank, second is R&C: going commando, the thrid is R&C: up your arsenal. DON'T get the 4th one- deadlocked. It's stupid, and all about killing and guns. The other ones have some purpose. Another awesome game to get him would be Jak and Daxter, the 1st one- the second & third, like the 4th R&C, is all about violence, though the 3rd one is pretty cool.

Other good games are:
~Grand Turismo (racing simulation)
~Sly Cooper
~Neopets: The drakest faerie (it's not about fairies really.)
If he doesn't have one, get him a PS2 w/ one game. (Jak & Daxter) It's adventureous!

Though, you should get him a video recorder and tell him to get outside and observe, learn and enjoy the real world. Maybe even a notebook to go w/ it. Just please, please, PLEASE, don't get him anything rated M+, there's enough of that.
