It does very depending on circumstances such as hysterectomies which will but a women into what is called surgical menopause. It does range from 30-late 50's. Symptoms of menopause include hot flashes or feeling sweating for no apparent reason, vaginal dryness, mood swings, nite sweats, and the absences of your menses or period . Hope I helped .

Around 50..Sometimes a little before and sometimes a little after. You can still have symptoms for a few years before you actually go through the change.
