what makes a good mall? one which has everything what one can do during her recreation and free time especially on a weekend. Relaxing, shopping, eating, and doing some training to keep fit.

Our mall sucks because there are more empty spaces than stores. It is assumed that the rent for space at our mall is astronomical, and therefore noone wants to bring their business to our podunk town. Sad, isn't it? I've never been to the Mall of America, but I would have to say that if a mall has a bit of everything (clothing, toys, housewares, furniture, jewelry, food, etc.) and is open, airy, and clean, that would be a good mall.

I think a good mall is comprised of many different stores that include:
Comic Book shops-Comic Toast
Book stores-Walden Books, Books-A-Million
Men's and women's clothing stores-Brook's Brother's, GAP, Rainbow's, Aeropostale, American Eagle, Victoria's Secret
Hobby stores-Spencer's, Hot Topic, Sears, The Discovery Channel Store,
The Disney Store, Radio Shack
Card stores-Halmark
Video game stores-EB Games, Game Stop
Pet stores-Gerbils Gerbils Gerbils
Movie Stores-Suncoast
Music Stores-Sound Shop, Sam Goody's
Shoe stores-Athletic Fitters
Candy stores-Godiva Chocolate,
Toy Stores-KB Toys, Buy Me Toys
Public service stores-U.S. Post Office
Accessory stores that sell watches, purses, hats, sunglasses, etc.
Health stores that sell diet pills and diet books and muscle supplements, etc.
Large Food Court with alot of tables that are kept clean and maybe a fountain that changes colors to add to the scenery along with the usual fake trees or a carousel -McDonald's, Taco Bell, Chic-Fil-A, China Woc, Shubees Shakes, Main Squeeze, Sbarro Pizza, Boardwalk Fries,
Other more upscale restaurants-Ruby Tuesdays, Garfield's, Picadilly Cafe, Starbucks,
Autonomous units for mid-mall snacking-American Cookies, Time For Cookies
Photo booths to help you remember your time at the mall!
Bathrooms that are located on both ends of the mall and one near the foodcourt. The bathrooms are clean and are spacious.
Mall security to break up fights and disputes, but not enough to keep the people from having fun!
Stairs, elavators and escalators that allow people to reach higher floors of the mall!
Hair salons and nail parlors and barbors
The location of a mall is also vitale!
The parking is also another factor of the mall!
A mall that is not so crowded is also a plus for me!
All of this to me makes up a good mall! I hope this helps!!!

A good mall is all about location and offerings. It is important for it to be safe. Established merchants bring credability and produce a thriving market. Customers like to shop in one location without having to drive all over to shop their favorite stores. With gas prices going up, it will even be more important to pick and choose where one goes.

The stores you like.
A good mall should always have a good place to eat, a bookstore, plenty of places to sit and rest, drinking fountains and bathrooms, and it should be clean.
