Yup the boy butterflies are, it's amazing the species has been able to stay away from the brink of extinction. Cause as you know, pig and elephant DNA just doesn't splice.

Butterflies, and all insects in general, do not engage in homosexual antics, but occasionally, they can spontaneously reproduce without the opposite sex (aphids, etc) and many females do eat the heads off their mates while mating. So .... I hope you understand why butterflies have the colours and spottings on those wings, it's not for show.
