in a two year rental agreement in colorado, company moving me to another city.

It depends on your landlord really. You are leagally binded. Some landlords are understanding but some aren't. Be totally honest with them and see what happens! Good Luck!

If you are moving for the good of the company, your employer should pick up the expense of buying out of the lease.

Sometimes, the company who is relocating you will buy out the lease.

Read your lease and talk to your manager. If you cannot get out of the lease, looking into subletting if you cannot get out of it.

However, no matter what, 3 days notice is too short. At the very least, you are going to have to pay next month's rent.

You signed your rental lease agreement, not your company..
If your company wants to take care of the lease penalties for you then it is up to them...

Most leases and aggreements have job related relocation clauses. Read you agreement carefully. You may need an attorney to help you.

Sometimes....explain to your apt mgr the situation, if ( and rarely if) they like you, they may let you out. Check over the small print in your lease for an "escape" clause. Also check local laws in your area...there may be some protections there.

Your company is relocating you, they are responsible for penalties regarding your lease. Call your RELO department at work, if you have one, or call your HR department.
