I am going to be doing the baby's bedroom/nursery when I move in about 2 weeks. I am having a girl. I would like some ideas on what color or theme to use, besides plain old pink. I am so tired of all girl stuff being pink. lol. Any ideas? O yea, the crib and other furniture is white, so no white either!! lol

I would choose lavendar for a girl. Very feminine and can be easily adjusted with a theme as your daughter gets older.

Im a little different. I think a light red and white looks very nice. U can add some nice stenciling to the middle part of the wall going all the way around. maybe paint the room a nice light red with a plain white border in the middle of the wall going all the way around the room. in the white middle section take the stencil and stencil out some little flowers or polkadots. u can buy a crib set that is a plain solid color with a nice mobile that would match the walls. I could go on forever of ideas. Good Luck and Congrats!! =)

Yellow. A light yellow would be so cute and calming with a white crib. Maybe light yellow walls, a nice set of bedding for the crib that has light yellow and white in it, and some pictures on the wall would make an adorable nursery for a little girl. Don't do anything that's a cartoon or something that's overly done. You want it to be something sweet, simple, and lovely for a baby girl. Congrats on the little one :-)

You could do the room in Winnie the Pooh (the old fashion one is always a good baby theme). I was going to do my sons in that, but we decided to just go with different shades of blue and yellow. You could do cute bugs (like caterpillars, lady bugs, bees, etc.) or just pick a few colors you like, and add a few accent pieces that have all those colors in it. For example: light yellow and light purple, and add a few things with designs on it (like blankets, curtains, a lamp shade, or pictures). You could even go with a flower theme. That's always pretty, and she won't grow out of it for a while.

Congrats, and good luck with everything!!

well you could do a jungle theme paint the walls solid white and get a jungle border from wal mart and line the top of the wall closest to the ceiling and at the very bottom of the wall closest to the carpet with the border and then you could put little jungle stuffed animals everywhere on counter tops and things or maybe glass figurens of say zebras, elephants and tigers on counter tops or shelves to dress up the room....or you could do ducks and do the whole white walls with duck borders and little duck figures there are a MILLION things you could do lol. good luck hope I helped

I'm doing mine in Yellow and blue.. It is going to be a moon and star theme on a dark blue background... I'm not much into pastels. I'm also putting glow in the dark stars on the ceiling. Of course I have to make everything myself but I am OK with that.

how about deep purple and lime green. I would do a butterfly theme, maybe with some daisys or other flowers. Congrats.
