I have tons of spiders around my house. does anyone know how to get them to make webs on my front porch? they are so much cooler and less expensive than plastic fake spiders.

I don't think you can do that.It is a nice idea, however.Really, though, they would just make their webs where you need to walk.I had one attach it's web to my front door.It was HUGE.I knew it was there, forgot about it,walked through it when I had my almost-waist-length hair down.Spider got in my hair and I almost had a heart attack swiping at it to get it out.The neighbors probably had a good laugh seeing me bent over with my head upside-down,swiping at my hair and making little "ack" noises.Nope, wouldn't encourage your idea...

If you have tons of spiders around your house then it must be infested with them. Regards to spiders, when I find one, I always let them crawl onto one end of the newspaper and take them outside away from the doorway area.

You get glass over the spider first then slide the paper under it - being careful not to let the edge of the glass up so it doesn't run out (I speak from experience there...).

smash them first, it keeps them from running away. then, using a tissue or some toilet paper, get him with one quick swipe. while hes stuck to your paper, you can move him anywhere you need.
