if yes , what if I change the registration after I shift place ?

I have not provided even a copy of my Registration details or Vehicle No. and at present am out of India - but vehicle is at home town - being used for commercial purpose.

Yes. Usually the finance company holds the original title and only surrenders it on payment of the loan.
If there is a change of address, notify the finance company and the department of motor vehicles.
You should still get an owners' card, from the DMV, to carry with you.

Hi partha, Registration is mondatory for every motor vehicle. To know about vehicle details like model, Engine number, chasis number, CC, body type and owner details Registration Certificate verification is compulsory. You cant change vehicle details, but you can transfer vehilce ownership one person to another person.

Yes they use it as proof of address and can follow the vehicle registration back to you.

Usually finance companies keep the originals with them.

If you shift during the tenure of loan, please inform the RTO as well as the finance company. It makes ur financier happy to know that u r a creditable borrower. Next time u may be able to get good terms.

yes even if you change any of your and the cars details they have to know where the car is
