Drinking isn't wrong. It's what individuals do while they are drinking that comes into question.

humans began to cultivate wheat to make beer, before we even realized that we could make bread. every civilization has had some intoxicant, and most have been some sort of liquid such as wine, beer, or mead. so are you going to tell me that EVERYONE who has ever even EXISTED is wrong? lighten up, i'll even buy you a beer.

i think not if you drink responsively- if you know where the limit is. but drinking is not for everyone.
