I agree with those that say: if we don't give an opinion, then we don't know what other people are thinking on an issue. I mean, there are too many people in denial when it comes to the party that they support. I wish people would open their eyes a little more and really see the truth for what it is..Unfortunately, things are not that simple. But that's what makes for a more interesting world. It is only tragic when innocent lives are the price some pay for the mistakes/ beliefs of some of these cooky thinkers.

We do agree to disagree.
We're not killing each other like what people do in less civilized societies.
I am conservative but want my liberal friends to have the same rights and opportunities to speak as I do.
Forums like this are what were envisioned by the Founding Fathers.
People may not admit it, but they DO LEARN from the other side - if anything, it makes you a better debater for the next time around.
Keep the arguments coming folks, it's what makes us great!!!

Yeah, it would probably be a boring world anyways if we all agreed on everything, so whats the point...but i do like argue and name call!

i am actually here to find out what people think. i can't know when you're screwing with me...
even when i ask sincere questions, i don't recieve sincere answers. you are right, if we all stop talking to each other, the world will continue and so will the issues that we were hoping to solve.
yes, people's minds can change. and if you don't believe me, you'll never make it happen.

I could skip the name calling and abuse, but yes I like to argue...it makes me think and sometimes DOES change my mind...it at least gives me an idea of what other people think so therefore helps me to relate to other people.

arguing is good!
"argue" in the sense that we
present reasons and give evidence
i NEED to talk with people who have views different than mine
when i do,
i either
1) learn to strengthen my own case by improving my responses
or,
2) learn to adapt, or even reverse, my view, in response to the other's superior reasoning
either way,
i win!
