I get sick and tired of bashing. If you've all noticed, I've never offended Bush in any sense but have shown my opposition to many things he's done. I think that nobody should bash either Bush or Clinton unless we all have good and fair reasons. But what gets on my nerves is the fact that all this bashing happens during elections. And I did come up with the term Reckpulicans because somebody called the Dems Defeatocrats.

Hey, notme I don't deny that Bush lied. I know that both Bush and Clinton lied but Bush lied about our fate and Clinton lied about Monica. However, Clinton has all my respect because he lied as a man while Bush lied as Pres of the USA. Hope you agree with me!

jasonbztzl I'm a Dem and didn't attack Bush ever since he became Pres. I wanted to give him the chance to show what he's got. Now, how he got elected was disgusting but I got over that. I supported him with Afghanistan and some other things but I generally disagree with his things. He did lie and should've been more honest with us all. If you like Bush, great for you but I like Clinton over Bush and hope you don't get mad.

crazycatlady I'm not a liberal but a moderate Dem. Clinton was a moderate Dem. I use the word bashing because it's been famous on here and wanted to get in style that's all. I respect your political ideology and affiliation if any and do respect Bush as a person not a Pres. But maybe we should all try to stop picking on the other side of the aisle when things go wrong. I know that Bush had a right to invade Afghanistan becasue of Al Qaeda but Iraq was a cop out because there were supposed to be WMDs. However, I don't have time to attack anybody but instead to give my pov on some issues.

Tiffany K, I couldn't agree with you more. Both administrations failed to capture Bin Laden and instead of making this whole thing a political issue, it should be considered a national issue, elevated level. I guess many politicians think that their top priority is their party and then their country. Wrong, your country always should come first. Sorry about that, I forgot to put that with my question. I have seen this whole thing and don't like where it's taking us. Just hope that we can see an effort from the duopoly to get Bin Laden before he tries to strike again!

Liberals call it bashing when ANYONE tries to state the facts.
Don't confuse the simple libs with the truth. That is not to say there has not been mud slinging on BOTH sides and I hate defending Bush, but I will defend him over a spineless Liberal ANY day!!
God (or what ever you believe in) help us if the democrats ever take over this country...then we are all in REAL trouble.....for those of you who are waffling if you think it is bad now, do some research on the USSR during it's peak of communism and that is what awaits YOU if the libs take over!
derekgorman: point taken and respected....

Clinton definitely brought up some issues about the Bush admin. that echo what much of the American public is thinking. The bottom line is that both president's failed when it came down to capturing Osama Bin Laden. It doesn't matter who came the closest, he's still out there. The Bush admin. has no right to criticize fmr. pres. Clinton, and in vice or versa. They have both failed in achieving this objective which is totally unacceptable. I hope that American's see this.

I'm sure the election, and scare tactics had a lot to do with the Clinton bashing. That is the main tactic of Republicans to scare those who may vote Democratic. They should look closer and realize that we are not any safer with them leading us, they have made plenty of failures to put the United States at risk.

Of course!
Since the report has come out that the Iraq invasion's a complete failure, Repubes are now trying to divert those news by attacking Clinton for not acting against terrorism (never mind he's no longer president).
They always try to divert attention from REAL issues to stuff that's irrelevant like gay marriage, cell stem, and Clinton's penis.

Bush has been bashed since he was elected by Democrats not just during elections. They are mad because they are out of power and will stop at nothing to get it back.

Character assassination is a definite repuglican ploy. If I show how bad the other guy is maybe I will look better. Its worked for two elections to make it close enough for the repuke's to steal them.

The bashing on Bush started when he cut taxes for working people.
The Democrats hate anyone who does that....
Even another Democrat like JFK, who was the hero that proved the value of letting people keep more of their money.
Reagan was well liked until he cut taxes. The Democrats still hate him because of that.

It really got to them when they were exposed - lashing out and trying to sling mud is typical behavior for Reps.
