NO, it doens't and it never has.

marriage takes WORK and EFFORT from both sides. instead of complaining and treating your marriage as if it is already over - put some effort in and try MARRIAGE COUNSELING. This may have been something you tried before you got married.

If you think that there is a perfect man who is going to come along and make everything shiny and sparkily for you, you are fooling yourself, and you'll look back 30 years and 5 husbands later and realize what a fool you have been. EVERYONE HAS FAULTS. NO ONE IS PERFECT. But you can make it work if you love each other, trust each other, respect each other and you COMMUNICATE.

You should realize what your husband was before you got married.
no body changes that much after marriage, it is just we never realized who they really were...anyway, have you talked to him about this? It is sad that being so young you are thinking about divorce. You will never find the perfect guy because that doesn't exist...no one is perfect, that's why communication is the most important in a relationship, we are all different, there is not such thing as a perfect husband.
Go talk to your husband and try to fix your marriage instead of being here complaining.

I actually had an old girlfriend call me one once, but I am probably too old for you, and my armor is a little dented.

It is going to be hard to find one because we are a rare and endangered species. However, you are who you hang around with; if you want to find your knight then you need to go to places where he would be, and most of us avoid the bar scene.

The problem with finding a White Knight is that most women don't want one and are not attracted to them. We are the boring people the ones with a secure job, who don't do drugs, who don't hit women, and live our lives quietly. We are also the ones that seldom stray from our women, and would never consider playing around on them (I mean playing as in the usage, “Man, you get all the girls, you’re a real Player). We don’t abuse children we protect them. We are also the few that will stick with you when times are hard, and even if he knows he is going to get clobbered the White Knight will step up to your defense (of course that is a good way to get them killed too). Like most men we try to hide our feelings, but the White Knights tend to be more in touch with them.

Biologically women are geared to find a mate that can protect them and fight off the other potential mates. That's why women are so attracted to the dangerous man. You can't help it, because it is in your genes. The second imperative in your genes is to find a stable mate who would be a good provider, which is why few dangerous men work out well as husbands. However, you can rise above your genes and make the proper choice. Your first choice is probably the wrong choice, your soon to be ex-husband seems to prove that. Find out what you liked in that man, isolate those feelings from your genetic imperative, and then look for men like that.

You need to look for the quiet man; you can find him at church or in the places like art museums, or through some dating services. Since we White Knights are so unattractive to women we have to go looking for them and we aren't sure exactly how to do it so we like dating agencies. Of course so do some sleazy people who can masquerade themselves as White Knights.

White Knights are often shy, like I said we aren't the dangerous men, so women aren't attracted to us. A lot of White Knights are actually disguised as Nerds, but we are more mature. We are all around you hidden in plain sight, but we are dying out. Often you will have to ask the White Knight out first. We tend to be exclusive, like not going after married women (I lost any chance I had with a woman that way), and we don't like the fast women. We have problem insulting women, so we rarely take the risk of asking them out, and when we do we tend to use forced come-on lines that wouldn’t really work.

There is a difference between White knights and Mr. Milktoast. We White Knights have a limit for what we will take, and we are not afraid to stand up for ourselves, but we don’t want to be offensive so we don’t show that. In a room of ten men; 2 might be dangerous, 5 might be average men, 2 will be Mr. Milktoast and 1 (just one) could be the White Knight in Shinning Armor.

The White Knight in Shinning Armor is out there, but your instincts tend to make you avoid them. You don't have to drop your standards, but they may need to be evolved. Look past the first impression and see if you can imagine spending time with him and 2 kids. You don’t have to have the kids, but can you imagine Fonzy in that situation or what about Kid Rock. Heather Locklear and Pamela Anderson both like dangerous men like lead singers in a Rock and Roll band, but they have problems staying with them. Heather Locklear is laughed at for her attraction to David Spade, but she might have found her White Knight in Shinning Armor. I don’t think that she will stay with him too long. There is too much competition for her attention, and she is a bit of a wild woman herself.
