And just who decides if a question is stupid, you? What do you have in the way of proof that you are qualified to decide anything about someone else? You don't have the right to judge anybody except yourself.

Because we were alwasy told in school "No question is a stupid question, others may be thinking of the same one but just too scared or shy to ask it"
