I'm doomed. If I can't find a dress I can't go and will be stuck home by myself while everyone else is at the dance having fun.

Help. Please. Knee Length. Simple. Spaghetti Straps .Somewhere between 25-60$

I've been to Forever21, Macy's, JC Penny, Nordstrom, Marshall's/TJ Maxx, and a few other local places.

I didn't wait until the last minute. I started looking 2-3 weeks ago.

I checked that Deb site out once, they're all kind of cheap and metallic and hooker-like.

I worry about thrift stores because I don't know who wore the dress before me and that creeps me out. Plus, its a little embarassing to say I got my dress at a thrift store.

Well idk where u live. But at My mall there is a store called TOTAL WEDDING they have EXTRODINARY dresses. It's heaven on earth for any girl. Excpet it's wayyyyyyyyyyyyy expensive! nothing cheaper then $100. Which I guess doesn't help u at all. Maybe u should try google ing some stores in ur area. Maybe u can borrow from somebody? And I don't think that u should miss such and important dance just bcuz of a dress! U must have SOMETHING formal to wear even if it's not a dress. Try black skirt and a blouse or somehting. You may not have fancy close but remember ACCESORIES are EVERYTHING! The way u accesorize can completly change ur look. And remember LESS is MORE. :) Hope this helps. Good luck. AND GO TO THAT DANCE even if u don't have a dress. Ask ur mom if she has something or ur friend. Also, ask ur bf where they got their dresses.

Try Deb.. a lot of my friends got their dress their. Or looking online? I know its better to try it on and make sure it fits but all the stores are pretty much picked over. Or maybe a bridal shop that sells homecoming dresses.. Hope I helped!

Next time... don't wait till the last second ;0!

If you live near a city, go in and look at vintage clothing stores! The vintage look is really in right now, and you can get a cute frock that you can dress up or dress down and wear to other places as well!

as bad as it sounds...try consignment stores...maybe go to some more local shops and boutiques....or buy a dress that you sort of liked at one of the stores you have visited...and then take it to a taylor to get customized exactly how you want it...i had the same problem and thats what i did...my prom is tomorrow and my dress is perfect...

i think you should go to a store by Katy mills and there is a dress that's purple and has some diamonds on the side and it cost only $50.

Go to consignment shops, Sears, JC Penney's, Kaufmans if you have one in your town, H & M.

I think your best bet is going to be the consignment shops with the price range you are looking in.

Have you tried the used dress stores in your town? Sometimes they have nice stuff that would be appropriate. Also try freecycle.com for your area.
