It's a scam to get you to come in and buy a new phone or plan before your 2 years is up.

because they are subsidizing the cost of the phone by locking you to a contract by that long. What you paid for that phone is probably 1/4 of what it really costs.

But usually you can upgrade phones starting 1 year into that contract.

most companies let you upgrade just not downgrade. Some will require you to sign a new two year agreement w/ your uprade but not always.

It takes around two years to make a new version of a phone. They force you to wait.

T-mobile always let you upgrade. If you upgrade, then all you do is start a new contract period. It doesn't tack on to the end of the contract period.

perchance they prefer you to keep money for something else like a motor vehicle. changed into that money in ur low-priced costs account through any danger? cuz thats particular plenty for no longer having a job!! =] choose i changed into you. juss get a babysitting pastime then say "I have a job"

I find that mine (Sprint) will always let you upgrade, but you extend your plan by a fresh two years when you do!

well because they have to make a profit to but sometimes i think that they do rip people off they make it sound great before you are a member but (there is always a catch )
