i couldn't agree more. in all these years of amazing technological advancements i can't believe they haven't come up with a better way to manage/consolidate power cords!

one thing that does help, in my opinion, is to get some of that flexible plastic tubing like they use in cars to bundle electrical wiring. it's cut down one side and you can tuck wires inside. you just need to get some in a width wide enough to fit your various cords. try the electrical section of a home depot-type store. maybe even get creative and run it through some other tubing you can find.

bottom line is you're looking at less wires. even if the one you do see looks like a snake that swallowed a horse! ;-)

I found using the 2" corrugated wire tubes works the best and looks kool if painted with neon blue. You can find it on line or radio shack(expense there). The tube has a slit down the side so you can add and remove cable as needed.

Use a neon light with it and it will glow. Or leave black and no one will ever see it.

Don't use any thing that you can't easily add or remove cables. The last thing you want to do is use a knife to cut tape off or cutters to remove wire ties. Oppssss was that the tape or my mouse cord.... :(

Good luck

You can get conduits that bundle the cables together. That helps. You can get bluetooth connections which remove the need for cables. If you have multiple matchines, you can use a Belkin to share peripherals.

loop them up and use a zip tie, don't use electrical tape or you'll have a sticky mess when you need to undo the budle to replace or upgrade your electronics.
