Well my best recommendation is to check several MoBo manufacturers on Price Watch, TigerDirect, etc. and look for one with really high bus speed.

Remember, no matter how fast your CPU, RAM, HD, etc. are the MoBo is a major factor in overall performance.

An ASUS MoBo is a good one to look at. Not cheap but a very good product.

IT IS THE ONE THAT YOU CAN AFFORD.I game on a rig i build for un 800 bucks. You just need to do some research and wait for the deals. I can play fear, HL2 , HL2-E1 , doom3 without any frame rate fear at all.

all gear is new and working the slow burnin while i pump up the clocks.

if you want the best [well] you cannt afford the best. or do you have 15k to spend? if so..buy with a warranty and dont build.
