My brother eats so much that the whole restaurant notices. One day at lunch a group of adult football players sat next to us just as we sat at our table and they ate about 3 platefuls of food each. My brother had gotten his 5th full plate and the players just stopped and stared in disbelief. One guy said he didn't understand how he could put away so much food and not be overweight. (he is 6'3 and 190lbs, lean)

No, but I have known someone - who was an athlete - who would stay at this all you can eat restaurant for 3 or 4 hours, just going back and eating more. The manager of the restaurant talked with him and they worked out an arrangement where he would pay a higher fixed price, rather than the "regular" rate for the buffet. This seemed to keep both him and management happy.

I don't do buffets, but a buffet is a buffet and if an employee is giving you a dirty look they're taking their job waaaaay too seriously. What else are they to expect it's an all you can eat buffet?!?!

A buffet, is a buffet. In other words all you can eat.
But good manners are, you don't fill your plate up, take two bites, dump it to the side and get more. But
take what you want, eat it all, then go back for MORE!!!
Besides your employer doesn't pay per plate, He pays for the amount of people in the group.

LOL, once when my family walked into Captain D's on all-you-can-eat day, someone in the kitchen yelled "Batton down the hatches!" I was so embarassed!
