Probably the same reason people under the age of 25 post sad little messages on the net in a desperate attempt to interact!!

I am nearly 60 and I do not post sad little messages. I run a boxing club most of the boys and girls are under 25. I have a business and many of my staff are under 25. Remember I was 25 once so I have been in your shoes you have yet to make it into mine. If more people interacted we would have a better world to live in. I sold one of London's biggest Rave clubs less than 10 years ago. I never had a problem with the young people who used it. You seem to have the problem. 25 will soon be 45 so think before you make a fool of yourself.

If you are going to bother asking that you might as well also ask the following:

"Why do naive people in their teens and pre-teens post sad little messages in attempt to get taken advantage of?"

They do it because it is part of human nature to be ignorant and insecure at times. Even Einstein had bad days.

Riiiiiight. So is just the over 25's you have an issue with? If I posted a sad and pathetic little question 'just to interact' and I was 24, would that be better?

Drink your milk and go to bed sweetie.

Post sad little messages where? Like here on Y. Answers? Or somewhere else?

And lordy, if 25 is old, I must be a lot less cool than I had thought.

What difference does it make if they are over 25 or not? Surely a sad message is a sad message regardless of the persons age? And what kind of 'sad messages' do you mean?

If you are so interesting, shouldn't you be out there doing things that are not 'sad' and 'desperate' rather than leaving 'sad little messages on the net'?!?!?!

Because normally I just feel like chinning most people for no apparent reason rather than talk to them. Its difficult to re profile your face if your on the other side of the world. Thus the Internet is a fully functioning personal protection device (for some).
