it might have something to do with that nursery rhyme, "London Bridge Is Falling Down"?

nope and that question has been asked a hundred times on here. should have just done some research. i'm sure that is doesn't have anything whatsoever to do with the London Bridge though like other people have though.

It means somebody thought it would make a good, but not accurate song lyric.

London bridge doesn't go up OR down!
