What you need to so is go to her recruiting office and ask them. She may need a mental evaluation and that should have been done after they noticed all these things happening on purpose. Based on the evaluation they should see her unfit to continue training and unfit for a career in the military.

Good Luck!!

If she is already at basic training it is very difficult to get out. If she has not left yet she needs to talk with her recruiting officer and see what her options are. If she is in she needs to talk to her drill instuctor, the company commander. What ever she does there is a chain of command she must follow. As for you maybe you should talk to her recruiting officer and they can advise you. Good Luck.

She must tell her drill instructors that she wants to get out. If the Marines work the same way as the Army, a discharge could take up to 3 weeks. They move a bit faster for people who say they are suicidal. There isn't much you can do for her, she has to do it herself. If you have any connections with a politician, that might help to speed the processes.

Let her make her own decisions........it's her life. You are her mom, but let her make and choose her own destiny. She is old enough to join, she's old enough to know how to get out of it. Let it be on her own head for her desicions. I know where you are coming from mom, but you have to let them grow up some time or another. Now, is the best time. If there is a real problem, they will not keep her and will discharge her on their own for failure to adapt to the environment.
