Freddie Mercury was an icon of the rock scene, he will never be forgotten. He was loved by millions of fans and other fellow rock stars, but if you are referring to his sexual life and/or preference, Freddie had a man as well as a woman. He got aids from a needle when he used to do drugs. I am sure that he was not a cassanova and was pretty honest and faithful to all involved parties. He will be missed by millions and treasured for many years to come. He is missed a great deal by his cats too, Delilah especially went crazy when he died. I hope that this helps answer your question.

I think he, like many great people, are only fully appreciated when they die. The names that came out for the Freddie Mercury tribute were big. He has one of the most distinctive voices in rock history. Along with Brian May's unique guitar sounds, they made one great band.
