They have special wrist support pads specifically designed for keyboard workers. They can be found at most office supply stores or department stores.

Yes, if you are cramped then blood is not circulating well. I would do the following adjustments.

Let your hand hang down to your side when you stand up. You see how your wrist is straight in relation to your hand to fore arm? That is how it should be when you type. Most people have their wrist bent 'up' when they type....you shouldput something that elevates your wrist to the level of your keyboard. The elbow should not be bent more than 90 degrees as over time it can cut off circulation.

Also, loosen your arms once in a while just to keep them from being in the same position at all times. Maybe get up once every 15 mins.

You should see a doctor. If you get a doctor's note, chances are that your job will have to buy an ergonomically designed keyboard. This should help. There are also special braces to wear while typing. If it escalates, its probably carpal tunnel. The usual treatment for this is first start off with steruid injections. If that doesn't work, there is always surgery. But try the new keyboard first.

Check an office catalog and get some ergonomic accessories like a keyboard, wristpad, mouse. If you don't make corrections, you can develop carpel-tunnel syndrome which can be a real downer. Good luck!

You may be developing carpel tunel syndrome where your wrist is not in a comfortable position while typing on the keyboard. I suggest you get a keyboard pad so that your wrist can be elevated and comfortable.

Yes you might be developing carpel tunnel. My advice would be to see your doctor and maybe cut your computer time by half if possible. Also try alternating with warm and cool compresses. You should see a change in no time!

It sounds like you have carpal tunnel disease. It is dangerous. You might want to get a wrist brace at the drugstore or better still, talk to a osteopath.

stay away from the computer? a cramped arm doesn't sound "dangrous".

You're on your way to carpal tunnel syndrome. Get a wrist brace. Eventually, you may need surgery.

I have the same thing sometimes. But my wrists hurt because it's become a wierd habit to twist them.
