Several ancient calendars such as Egyptian and Myan along with predictions of Nostradamus and Casey place the descruction of this order in the year of 2012. It has been said that massive earth changes will occur due to the shifting of the Earth on its axis. What do you think?

Yes, I believe we are in the "End Times" It was predicted in the bible that there would be massive wildfires, droughts and other disasters as precursers to the End. But more importantly, that the rise of immorality ( especially homosexuality) would make things " as it was in the days of Noah". Furthermore it was predicted that the fish of the ocean would die off. This is happening worldwide as global warming is killing off many of the smaller fish that the larger fish depend on for food. Salmon runs have reduced significantly in North America and in some cases have stopped altogether. Cod on the East Coast of North America seem to be mysteriously dying off and disappearing. The signs are there, I believe that the END is indeed near and that we had all better get right with God before it comes.

Great 2012 another election year, just something else for the politicians to sink their teeth into. I am sure that the Republicans will take credit for the End of the World and blame the democrats if it does not happen. You just can't win in the political battlefield.

Put no stock in any of that. Remember, Nostradamus wrote: "In 1999 the great King of Terror will come from the sky..." We're still here in '06.

Calenders ended because civilizations ceased to exist and calender-making was not one of their priorities toward their own 'end-times.'

Of the Day of Reckoning the Lord Jesus said in the New Testament: "No one knows..."

I don't believe that this will be the end to the world as we know it. It won't be the axis moving or whatever destroying us, but ourselves. If you just take the time to realize all the fossil fuels that we rely on so heavily, are begining to dry up and we hae no other source of energy to fall back on. We will be the end to ourselves if we don't wise up and start taking care of OUR planet.

P.S. God doesn't have a plan! And what real proof do you have that god is real?

I think God has a schedule and in His time he'll come and take his people home with him, those calendars are made up and the end of the world won't come in 2012 because there is a seven year tribulation after the coming of Christ, from now until 2012 is just 6 years, won't work, it's HIS plan.

I've had recurring dreams about this. I don't believe it will be the end of the world, but a 'cleansing' of sorts. These things run in cycles. What I have seen is a major disruption in the oceans. Many disasters involving water.

To answer your question, YES the end of the world as we know it is upon us. The global warming is causing the largest scale changes that we are witnessing to date, I'm sure war will be number 2.

Yes. And the end of the World as we know it happens EVERY DAY!

Each day we discover something new, so that is the end of the world AS WE KNOW IT. It happens every day.

Now if you mean the end of the World PERIOD, that's a whole different question....
