Is it that something is lacking in your sex life, lack of attention, or just because the opportunity presented itself?

i think its self esteem issues . it makes a person feel attractive and desired. some people just don't care who they hurt or they can get back at a spouse for one reason or another.

I cheated on my ex-husband for several reasons. Mainly fear of leaving him and being alone to start a life all on my own. And eventually when I realized how much I was hurting him and our family I confessed to him, and asked for a divorce. This is just my reason, I think it's different for everyone. Some women are sluts and can't ever keep their legs closed, some men will never be happy with one woman. So when you get all of the answers let me know. I'd like to know why my ex cheated on me with 7 other women when I gave him sex every day and a whole lot more.

It's because of the because the opportunity presented itself and in-morality. My husband cheatted on me with an older and ugly Salvadorian woman. WHY? He always says he loves like he won't love anybody in his life...go figure.

Being the one that was cheated on I was told by my husband it had nothing to do with me, he said he had affection, love a friend everything I can't get a real reason It makes me wonder if the relation ship didn't get that far before he was caught. We spend pretty much every minute together now except for work time making me wonder if it was to that point wouldn't he try to continue it.

there are alot of reasons, I didn't love him anymore, I had fallen in love with someone else, serious lack of attention and affection, no job, lazy as could be, I wanted out, but didn't quite know how to get there..........I suppose I was selfish, but at any rate, I'm glad, cause now I really am happy for the first time in a REALLY long time!

for a lot of people it just happens out the blue. i met my lover randomly, we lived miles apart but kept intouch,and had an emotional bond, and really strong friendship. we both had no intention of leaving our spouses and were still in love with them, but just felt relaxed and could talk about anything to each other. maybe for us it was lack of attention or just some excitment of a new relationship,

I've never cheated on mine, but I think people cheat on their spouses because they don't truly love them and because they are extremely selfish, thinking only of the fulfillment of their own lust. They put themselves in a compromising position.

I've never cheated on my spouse. But i have been cheated on and my spouse now has been cheated on many of times too. I guess they cheat b/c they don't care about the other one and they think that someone else out there has more to offer i dunno.

"Cheat" meaning as acting on the actual physical act when one or more is married is a sign of a problem. To what degree is all depends on the individuals involved.

I've never cheated, just been cheated on and when i asked the question why, he said it was just something to do. Aint that some sh*t. Thats why i divorced his butt.
